A tour to discover the excellence of Sicilian wines. The first step of our trip takes us to Marsala (Mars-Allah, port of God in Arabic) until we reach the slopes of Etna, an wine area that has developed over the last few years, experiencing a new revival.

 TOUR DEPARTURE EVERY WEEK OF SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER ON SATURDAY ENDING AT FRIDAY 

Day 1: Palermo - Marsala

Arrival of the participantsat the airport of Palermo Meeting with our courier and transfer toan hotel in Marsala area. Walk along the historical center of the city and dinner at a typical Sicilian restaurant.

Return to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 2 Marsala

After the breakfast, visit at he first wine cellar of day in Marsala . Visit of the second wine cellar, lunch and wine tasting.

Visit of the the last winery. Sundowner overlooking the salt pans and dinner in the farm. Return to hotel and overnight stay

Day 3: Catania

After the breakfast, check-out and departure for Catania. Along the way , we will stop at a winery in the area of Palermo. Guided tour of vineyards, wine cellar and lunch with wine tasting.

In the afternoon arrival in Catania, transfer to hotel, accommodation in the rooms, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Volcan Etna – Taormina

After breakfast in the hotel, we will reach Mount Etna for a naturalistic excursion on the Piano Provenzana. Visit and lunch in a nearby wine cellar. In the afternoon we will reach the historic center of Taormina. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

 Day 5: Circumetnea Train -Randazzo

After breakfast, transfer to the Piedimonte etneo station to reach the town of Randazzo aboard the Circumetnea train. Transfer to a cellar for lunch and wine tasting. In the afternoon guided tour of the "House of Music and Medieval Lutherie" to enjoy a very impressive experience. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Noto -Siracusa

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Noto considered as a masterpiece of Sicilian Baroque. Visit of the historical center and its main attractions like the Cathedral.Then we will reach a wine shop to taste fine wines and delicious local products.

 Lunch in a cellar and walk along the streets of Isola di Ortigiai, the heart of Siracusa, one of the most important city of the Ancient Magna Graecia. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Departure and come back (7 days/ 6 nights)

Breakfast at hotel, check-out. Transfer to airport or place to be defined. End of our services.

The itinerary can be modified for technical reasons operational and according to customer needs.

Possible stay extension

Day 8: Vittoria –Ragusa Ibla (8 days/ 7 nights)

Breakfast at hotel and departure for Vittoria. Visit of the little town and two wineries,. Lunch with fine typical wine of this area and local products.

In the afternoon, visit of Ragusa Ibla, the older part of Ragusa city. Trip among dozens of splendid churches such as Duomo di San Giorgio ande the most important baroque buildings. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
